Here we are at Santa Barbara's beautiful harbor in the early morning. I love painting it from the top floor of the Maritime Museum. The view is exquisite. I tried to imagine what the harbor was like in 1910. So I left out a few boats and made little row boats instead of the modern assortment of boats and cruise ships often seen from this viewpoint.
