I love parades in Santa Barbara. It’s all about energy in a parade, and in the Santa Barbara Solstice parade, there is non-stop energy. It was a hot hot hot day, but that did not stop the dancers, the float  builders, the marching bands, the mayor, the parade watchers. The sunlight, the colors and the happy spirits were contagious. I tried to capture that rich symphony of energy with paint on canvas. Another painting you might like is ”At the Beach, Brighton.”
