This is one of Santa Barbara's most beautiful beaches, East Beach– a wonderful destination on a summer's day. You can see the Carpinteria Bluffs in the background. This was my demonstration painting in the Santa Barbara studio painting workshop. This is how I began the painting in my workshop demonstration. We all painted a beach painting from a favorite photo.
