Here we are at one of Santa Barbara's most beautiful beaches, East Beach– a wonderful place to be on a summer's day. You can see the Carpinteria Bluffs in the background. This was my demonstration painting in the Santa Barbara studio painting workshop. Now that I think about it, my demo painting was not completed in the workshop. I had to do the finishing bits in my studio. The demo painting is below. We all painted a beach painting from our favorite photo. I saw a LOT of great beach paintings from my students during the three days of the April workshop.
