This is my "Quick Draw" painting the year I won an honorable mention for my fauve landscape painting, Truck for Trade. I found a french restaurant that let me come inside and paint their quaint dining room. They said that they purchased this antique table in France and that it once belonged to Vincent Van Gogh. This had to be the fastest moving painting I have ever made. Painted and framed in two hours. Auctioned away 15 minutes later. I hope it is in a happy home.
