As seen in the solo painting exhibition in Santa Barbara at Divine Inspiration Gallery 
"Man in Blue Holding an Orange" is one of my new figurative works, painted from a live model. I didn’t like the way the model was clothed in reality. I did like the orange he was holding. So the next day, back in my studio, my imagination took over. I removed the model’s shoes, jeans and flannel plaid shirt and dressed him in this blue suit and hat.
