This painting was made at Matanzas Creek Winery in Sonoma County, Californis. The blue mountain in the background is Sonoma Mountain, where I lived for many years. It was my intent to capture the flowing olive branches as they flickered in the breeze on that cool June morning. And I did think, “how would Vincent do this?” as I worked. I often reach to Vincent for inspiration and knowledge to release the light within me.
