The workers at Oak Hill Farm are always most welcoming to us painters. I took my plein air painting workshop there to paint. We had another gorgeous sunny autumn day. There was an abundance of flowers in the fields for our inspiration. After painting I went into the barn and found incredible dried flower wreaths. The flowers were fresh picked from their fields. I bought two--one for my dear friend, Kathy --she grows all that beautiful lavender that I paint so often. The other I sent to Ohio for my sister who is such a happy-spirited and caring sister, mother, and daughter. If you ever get a chance, stop by Oak Hill farm and take in some of their beauty.
