This painting was made during the Pte. Reys Plein Air Painting event in June. The light was beautiful on this clear late afternoon in Marshall. The kayak rental was closed for the day, and the colorful boats were stacked ready for the next day. I painted next to Teresa Dong (a fabulous painter) as she painted to the south, and I painted the view to the north.
