During my October visit to Sonoma County, where I lived for four years, I spent several beautiful indian summer days painting the colorful vineyards during the peak of the harvest season. This painting is made from Windy Ridge at Chalk Hill Vineyards in Healdsburg. The chapel amidst the vineyards is surrounded by olive trees.
