KATHLEEN ELSEY MAKES HER WAY TO NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITIONS IN MAY 2007

SANTA BARBARA CALIFORNIA
Kathleen Elsey’s painting “The Nursery” (Best oil or acrylic winner at the Carmel Plein Air Festival) has been juried in to the American Impressionist Society’s National Exhibition May 3rd through May 25th at the Hilligoss Gallery in Chicago. In addition, Ms. Elsey’s painting “Kathy’s Garden,” was accepted for the juried exhibition of the International Society of Acrylic Painters. The exhibition will take place in San Luis Obispo, Callifornia May 5th through June 16.

Ms. Elsey is a founding member of En Couleur, a group of seven California Colorists, and a signature member of the American Impressionist Society, the International Society of Acrylic Painters and the National Association of Women Artists.

After thirty years in the Bay Area, Kathleen, her husband, Victor and her dog, Lulu now live in Santa Barbara, California. Ms. Elsey is represented by William Lester Gallery in Pte. Reyes Station, California, Nancy Dodds Gallery in Carmel, California and Lagerquist Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia.
